Pennsylvania RV Travel Destinations
RV Warranties for Pennsylvania Travelers
For RV owners considering traveling the East Coast, Pennsylvania is a key place to visit. History buffs will thrive in the historically rich state and see evidences of early U.S. history, like the Liberty Bell. Pennsylvania has both large cities and rural landscapes, making for the perfect East Coast RV road trip.
An important city to start in would be Philadelphia. One of the most populous cities in the U.S., Philadelphia has much to see and do. Visitors can tour the city’s oldest historic quarter and see where the Declaration of Independence was signed at Independence Hall and other attractions, like the Liberty Bell and the Betsy Ross House. Other cities to visit include Pittsburg, the “Steel City” and Harrisburg, the state capital. The city of Harrisburg is located in the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, a region encompassing the well-known capital, Amish country, and the city of Hershey, PA. RV travelers with a sweet tooth can visit the birthplace of Hershey’s chocolate and visit one of the city’s many tourist attractions, including Hershey Park. For a more authentic experience, RV owners can head to the heart of Amish country, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. There is much to do in Lancaster, such as shopping at the Antiques Capital in Adamstown or exploring historic Lancaster city. Visitors can get a full glimpse into Amish culture by taking a buggy ride, shopping for crafts and other Amish goods, or by trying the fresh produce and dairy products at the many Amish farms.
Another great way to experience Pennsylvania is through the nature that is present throughout the state. Each region has specific features to explore and enjoy in a variety of ways, whether it be admiring sites or taking part in recreational activities. RVers can travel up to northern Pennsylvania and view the majestic Pine Creek Gorge, often known as the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. In Northeast Pennsylvania, the Pocono Mountains attract many visitors yearly with activities including white water rafting, adventurous hiking, or biking. Visitors can also enjoy the mountains just by taking in the sights; the region has gorgeous waterfalls, woods, and scenic vistas to enjoy right from the RV! There is so much more to see in Pennsylvania and an extended RV warranty will ensure that the drive is smooth all the way through the gorgeous state.
