North Dakota RV Travel Destinations
RV Warranties for North Dakota
Located in the Great Plains of North America, North Dakota has much to explore for RV owners. Visitors can be transported back in time by exploring the scenic routes Lewis and Clark once traveled or visit the state’s largest city, Fargo. The state has various regions to visit, including the Red River Valley, Turtle Mountains, Couteaus and Plains, and of course, the popular Badlands. There is much road to cover in North Dakota, and RV owners can see it all with ease with an extended RV warranty.
Throughout the state is a large number of state parks each with something special to see and do. Lake Sakakawea has gorgeous views and tons of water based activities. On one bank of the lake is Lewis and Clark State Park, which has a self-guided nature hike to see some of the area’s wildlife, like various species of deer and even porcupines. All of the state parks offer some type of outdoor recreation, whether it be biking, boating, birding, and even canoeing. Another popular activity in North Dakota is participating in Agri-tourism, with opportunities to experience farm life and even try some great dairy products.
One of the best ways to experience North Dakota is to simply drive. The plains present a calming but still interesting drive and there are special gems along the way. A trip to North Dakota wouldn’t be complete without a trip through the Badlands, an area full of stunning rock formations and scenic views for miles. Another popular drive is the Enchanted Highway in the southwest part of the state. The 32 mile stretch is full of unique scrap metal sculptures and many have picnic tables to stop and enjoy the view.
For RV owners who want to get off the road for a while, North Dakota’s most popular cities Fargo and Bismarck are great to visit. Fargo is the state’s most populated city, with popular attractions like the Fargo Air Museum and the Fargo Theater, which presents movies on film, not digital. Bismarck is North Dakota’s capital, with both city and outdoor attractions, including the Missouri River, popular for fishing, swimming, and the tourist-accessible Lewis and Clark Riverboat. With all of the activities and scenery that North Dakota has, RV owners can have a great time on and off the road, all with peace of mind with an extended RV warranty.
