With a passion to explore the U.S. on their own terms, Nina and Paul quit their day jobs and pursued the alternative lifestyle they always dreamed of. Nina and Paul each hold impressive educational and professional histories, and in 1995 their shared career of Engineering brought them together in San Jose, CA. Much of their relationship has been quite adventurous, working overseas in both Brussels and Hong Kong, with a few extra years spent in San Diego and the Bay Area. Their time in Hong Kong led Paul and Nina to seek out an alternative lifestyle that would align with their needs of retiring early and their desire to travel across the US.
