Wow-can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday we were setting RV goals for 2015! April has already arrived, providing opportunities for some amazing RV adventures. We love giving our readers tips on celebrating holidays in their RV, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day, and this upcoming Easter is no different for the festive RVer! Here are a few ways to celebrate the holiday:
Build Your RV Community
If you’re spending Easter Sunday at a campsite or RV park, why not get together with friends! The holiday is a great way to connect with others who share a similar passion for RVing and celebrate! Plan an Easter brunch, pot luck style, and see how creative you can get with your meal!
Go for An Adventure
Sometimes it’s fun to stray from tradition, so live it up and try out an adventure! Explore your area and try something new-enjoy nature and trek a scenic hike or have a day of luxury at a local winery or restaurant. We know that RVs can take you to incredible places, so the possibilities for your Easter adventures are endless!
Don’t Forget the Eggs!
It’s not Easter without some festive flair, so tap into your creative side and paint some eggs! Set up a table outside to enjoy the new spring weather, while also avoiding the “egg” smell in your RV. If traveling with little ones, make the egg hunt extra fun around your campsite and in the RV, maybe even painting a few “camo” eggs.
Festive Foods
Cooking in an RV can be quite the challenge, but once you get the hang of your tiny kitchen, you learn how to adapt and make delicious meals! Make your RV Easter extra special with some holiday-inspired treats, like Bacon Jalapeno Deviled Eggs, honey glazed carrots, and adorable Peep S’mores! Don’t forget the Easter Ham, which you can cook by using your Dutch oven or crock pot.
