RV Warranty Travelers Camping in San Antonio, Texas
San Antonio is a city rich with American history as well as geological history, making it a top destination for campers. Every year, 2.5 million people come visit a famous 4.2 acre landmark called the Alamo. The Alamo is located near downtown San Antonio, and is considered hallowed ground due to its rich, and bloody American history. Many of our RV Extended Warranty customers will travel on the same paths as armies from the Civil War, Revolutionary war, and more so as to visit some of the most monumental sites in our country’s history.
San Antonio also boasts geological history through attractions like Big Bend National Park, the Natural Bridge Caverns, and the Sorcerer’s Cave. Big Bend National Park can be found roughly 150 miles west of San Antonio. Again, this is a perfect spot for our adventurous RVing customers who enjoy biking, boating, camping and even fishing on or by the Rio Grande River. The Rio Grande River forms the border between the United States and Mexico. The flow of this magnificent river is what carved out the three major canyons of the park. The canyons are multi-colored and look magnificent against a backdrop of the shining Rio Grande river. The Natural Bridge Caverns of San Antonio are located 10 miles northeast of the city center. The Bridge Caverns are a system of enormous caves with different themed guided tours. Many of these tours reach down to a depth of 180 feet below the ground. Temperatures in these caves constantly range in the low 70s so it is a great way to beat the heat in the summer.
Whether you’re one of our many RV Warranty customers visiting in the winter to escape the snow back at home, or out on a summer camping adventure, San Antonio and the surrounding area have something great to offer!
