RV Warranty Pricing and Eligibility Changes
There’s a chill in the air, which means the holidays are approaching and the new year will be here before we know it! What does this mean for RV extended warranties? The new year will bring some very important changes:
- Warranty Prices on All Models Will Go Up
- With the exception of brand new models, all models will become one year older when 2023 hits, raising prices on extended warranties across the board.
- All motorhomes aged 2002 and older will no longer be eligible for coverage, and motorhomes aged 2007 and older will no longer be able to lock in comprehensive and coach component protection
- All towable vehicles aged 2007 and older will no longer be eligible for RV Warranty coverage of any kind after January 1, 2023

Most RVers are unaware that statistically, 3 out of every 10 RVs will suffer a major breakdown by only their 2nd year on the road. This number skyrockets to 8 out of 10 by their 5th year, and nearly every RV by their 8th! On top of this high probability for breakdown, the costs of RV Repairs are only going up. Check the chart to the left for an idea of how much the most common RV Repairs might cost you.
