Refreshing Experience Recently purchased a new Fleetwood diesel pusher motorhome with all the bells and whistles. The selling dealer immediately offered us a 5 year 60K mi. “bumper to bumper” warranty, for a fee, of course.
Having had experience with “Wholesale warranties” on a previous motorhome, I knew they were responsive, so I checked their price. Believe it or not, Wholesale warranties was almost $ 1,000.00 less for better coverage. We then purchased the “tire and wheel” warranty and still came out ahead. After traveling with another coach who had a blowout of a front tire, I would not be without it. It cost him $ 1,000.00 on the side of the road (for which he was responsible) not to mention the damage to the coach (which his insurance paid for)
The one occasion we had to use the warranty was when our Allison 4050 transmission went bad last year. They were so pleasant to work with and never argued or cut anything out. They settled promptly and paid for everything, including the new “TransSynd” fluid.
With the cost of repairs today, I will highly recommend them to everyone who purchases a coach.
