After much research, both online and talking to other RV’rs, we decided to place our RV, (also our home) in the good hands of the company with the most positive reviews. We recently sold our home, purchased a used RV, and hit the road looking for the great adventures we hoped to find down the road. A year before we made this bold move, (our friends and neighbors used a different word), we spent our time researching everything from what type of RV, insurances, warranty companies and which direction to head. Our choice of motor home was a used Country Coach, considered to be one of the best rv’s on the market. We new that a 10 year old coach, no matter how well it is made, can have unforseen problems which is why we put a lot of effort into researching companies that offered warranties. RV chat rooms were the first place We checked and one name kept popping up with positive reviews, Wholesale Warranties. Honestly, their name did not instill confidence when compared to other names we ran into, but we were not looking to purchase a name so we let that slide. What impressed us the most were the comments made by people that needed to use their warranties. In most of the reviews there was mention of a real person at Wholesale Warranties that assisted in their claim! We did not see this in any review of other companies. Our next step was going to a Rally where we could talk to various companies and their representatives. The Good Sam Rally in Redmond, OR was our best bet since our top two choices were going to be there. We talked to a few representatives while there and left without making a choice, since we had not finalized our RV purchase we couldn’t get into specifics. As soon as we got our RV, we emailed Wholesale Warranties and one other company to get a quote. Within one day, Daniel Smith with Wholesale Warranties answered and after a few phone calls to get more information we decided to go with them. Adam Oliveras then called to finalize the transaction and here we are. We ran into Wholesale Warranty at the FMCA rally in Coos Bay, OR and they thanked us with a gas card for recommending them to one of our friends who then purchased a warranty thru them.
Thanks for the opportunity to help others living on the road,
John & Judy Mattus
NOTE ONE: The other company called a week after we signed with a much higher quote that covered less.
NOTE TWO: We had to use our warranty last week with no problems.
