Dometic refrigerator recall.
Had the young man do the recall work on the Dometic fridge.
Paid the man for the trip charge etc. Went in the RV to light the fridge to get ready to go camping, noticed the refrigerator did not look level, went to see what he did outside. Opened the the access door to the back of the refrigerator, he forced the Dometic burner plate in the back of the unit the screw he used to secure the plate was much to long 3 1/2″ the screw hit the metal support bar on the motorhome frame and lifted up the whole fridge. Put in 1″ screw it fit just fine. The metal plate scraped off the insulation to the 110 volt fridge power cable!! So I wonder if that could cause a fire next time hooked up to campground power??? Will never call this guy again.
