Remove and replace shock absorbers. Front end alignment.
Very expensive parts. Indicated a 40% mark-up but was willing to report that their invoice cost was $95 per shock but was going to charge me
$160 per shock. This is a 68% mark-up assuming their cost was actually $95. The Ford dealer indicated that they had OEM shocks for $73.
Ended up with KYB shocks on the front and Monroe shocks on the rear. Normally want the same brand and model shock on all four corners. Only
after questioning the front end alignment, did they report that the coach was taken to another shop for the alignment. Would normally have
checked them out better before accepting their services but Great Alaskan Holidays, which has done excellent RV work other than chassis work,
recommended them for chassis work.
