Had water system issues. My dumb winterizing mistake. And an awning arm rebuild. Also my dumb mistake. Tree jumped out at me. He didn’t have
a new water pump for my rig but allowed me to go get one at a RV store while he worked on the awning.
I simple couldn’t be happier with the work Dan did. Over and beyond. His wife does the scheduling and she promptly called back and followed up.
Not like the previous company I called. I had another issue come up after Dan left. Called his wife and he shortly called me back then walked me through my issue with 3 return calls. Great tech with impressive inventory of parts on his spotless truck. He winters here in Havasu and goes back
north to Cortez Colorado for the summer.. Would not hesitate to refer Dan to anyone!
Replace wheel bearing.
We broke down late in the afternoon right in front of a campground by Mesa Verde National Park. We pulled in and the campground recommended
that we call Dan. He showed up the next morning and had everything fixed in a couple of hours. He seemed very competent and professional, and
we had no further problems after another two thousand miles of driving. I thought his rates were extremely reasonable given the circumstances. I
hope I never need to call him again, but I wouldn’t hesitate if I needed to.
My furnace was not working and it was a bit cold in the mornings. The furnace was pulled out and the igniter was adjusted and rust removed from the burner screen.
I have had trouble with this furnace since I bought the 5th wheel. No one has been able to fix it even though I have taken it in to be fixed several times and to different places. Dan Sutton, the owner, took the furnace out and went straight to the problem and finally fixed it. Dan was very professional, efficient, knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He was highly recommended by the staff at the RV park and by many of the frequent campers. His mobile repair vehicle is very neat and stocked as well as can be expected. He is licensed and insured in both Colorado and Arizona. Good to know since we travel to Arizona a lot in the winter months.
The malfunction was the pump itself. Several times we turned off the campground water, turned on the pump and opened a tap, to expend the air and cause the pump to run. All that came out was the accumulated water in the lines. In addition, water was dripping from the pump when campground line was attached. Several suggestions, including manually priming the pump were offered. Not overly mechanical, I called a KOA campground in Durango, CO and asked for their recommendation of a RV repair place, which they provided. This dealer could not accommodate us on such short notice and recommended their former chief mechanic- Dan Sutton. We met him at noon, he diagnosed a corroded water pump and replaced it. Hooray!
He has a mobile repair service in Cortez, CO. We met him in a WalMart parking lot and repairs were made on-the-spot and to our complete satisfaction, including time and cost.
