Repack wheel bearings, check furnace leaks and install surge protector.
Work was excellent. When in to have brakes checked. They called and asked if I wanted the bearings repacked. I thought I had Nev-R-Lube bearings, but they told me no, standard. Also told me there was grease all over the insides of the drums. I went to their shop and sure enough they were correct. They cleaned up the inside of the drums real nice, checked the brakes, magnets etc. Great customer service.
During the annual brake and wheel inspection on my 2003 Hitchhiker, service personnel determined that 3 out of 4 Nevr-Lube bearings had gone bad to the point of failure, thus avoiding a potentially catastrophic braking or driving event. The bearings were only a little over a year old yet should have lasted up to ten years. Rod took the initiative to contact Dexter axles, who really stepped up and stood behind their product. They worked out a warranty replacement that included new hubs, drums, and bearings, all at no cost to me.
Excellent. Many Trails had my trailer back on the road within two days of receiving the parts from Dexter.
The customer service was also above and beyond the call. They really took good care of me.
