I had Holt Cat check the front bearings for wear, change out the chassis batteries, adjust the Height Control Values front and back, lubricate the entire coach, check the front ball joints, and check the air in the tires to make sure they were at 105 psi.
Eric Jay the shop foreman contacted Spartan and obtain the specs for the front bearings and wheels. They mic’d the bearings, replaced the oilers, changed out the chassis batteries with 2 CAT 1000 CCA batteries. They checked the HCV on the front and everything was fine, checked the HCV on the rear and it was 6″ too high and they readjusted, lubed the entire chassis, checked the ball joints (noted that the rubber boots had disintegrated). Added air to all 6 tires. Would I use them again, Yes.
