Poor due to wrong Torque Converter installed
Transmission overhaul(Twice). Filed suit in small claims court, Onalaska, Tx., Case # SC1222. Judgment states: Guy’s Auto Repair, Defendant, Sold Plaintiff a warranted transmission overhaul service. Without consulting the Plaintiff, A different Torque Converter was substituted that led to mechanical failure. Defendant refused to offer any further remedy for repair under warranty to plaintiff.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED BY THE COURT that the plaintiff do recover damages from the defendant in the amount of the original price of the warranted transmission overhaul service of $1624.39 plus all cost of court and post-judgment interest at the rate of 6% per annum
