Curtis was refereed to us by the dealer that we purchased the 5th wheel from. They picked up where our selling dealer left off. The work was completed when they said it would be done and was done even though they didn’t have to take on this problem. They did it in a professional way and went the extra mile to help us out.
We had warranty work for our Cardinal 5W which we bought in another state. We had numerous items. Most importantly was a problem with frame flex. We brought it back five times for this problem, leaving for five days the last time. The work wasn’t done completely for many of the items.
They did repair some of the most simple repairs, but for the most part, the majority of items were not repaired adequately or at all. We had the 5W in four times and the last time it was for five days in which time they were to repair the frame flex problem. All together they had the 5W for 16 days and billed out less than four days time to the manufacturer. We now have to take the 5W to the factory for repairs. The service manager told us that since we had not purchased the 5W from them, they would only work on it when they wanted. They were rude and not competent.
Warranty discrepancies, this was the only dealer for the brand of 5th wheel. So I needed to get work done. Leaking windows one water the other air, plumbing leaks, gray dump handles very stiff, one drawer did not open easily, a day night shade was crooked.
Curtis service techs completed the work as required, but left dirt through out our home. But the real issue I had with the company was the customer service personnel were very discourteous. They treated us like we were an imposition on their day. I had stopped in a month ago to have the work done but was treated so poorly I left. There was no one else to do the warranty service so I had to go back before the warranty ran out. The front desk people were just as unprofessional, discourteous and unfriendly. The work was finished but the experience was not one we would want to repeat.
