A Merry RV Christmas

The Holidays can bring a nostalgic feeling to many, with memories of decorating the tree, putting up lights and baking cookies. If it’s your first time spending Christmas on the road, rest assured that there is more than enough room (figuratively speaking) for holiday traditions. Just like with any other merge of RVing and the sticks-and-bricks way of life, a few alterations are all you need to make Christmas cheer mobile this year!

Here are a few ways to get in the Christmas spirit in your motorhome:

Decorate!

There’s no better way to bask in Christmas glory than with some festive décor in and around your RV! If your location allows you to shop, make sure to shop small, as you won’t want to cramp your storage space with bulky decorations.

Hang up some garland! Pick out a favorite color or two, and adorn the interior of your Home on Wheels! This is a great way to decorate without taking up much space.

Purchase a small tree! If you think your rig has enough room, go with an artificial Christmas tree. This will definitely make you feel right at home!

Light it up!

It’s not Christmas without some glistening lights to admire, so implement some lights inside or outside your RV. If you’re staying put for a bit, hang up lights on your awning or other exterior areas. For those who call the road their home, putting up lights or décor in windows will give fellow drivers a sweet treat!

The grand finale: the wreath! Spruce up the outside of your RV with a festive wreath, either on the camper door or the front of the RV. This is sure to bring joy to all who pass.

Christmas Activities

Now that the décor is all up, it’s time for some Christmas Fun. Band together with your fellow travelers and bake some cookies! If you want to preserve your propane, consider making no-bake treats. You could even go with some RV themed cookies:
